How to Care for Cotton Muslin
· Remove the embellishments first. If your piece has rhinestone separators or beads, gently detach them before washing. They are designed to come off so the towel can be used for years.
· Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent. Wash with similar colours. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Muslin softens naturally on its own.
· Tumble dry low, or line dry in shade. A little crinkle is the signature of real cotton gauze. A cool iron on the reverse smoothens it if you prefer.
· It gets better with every wash. Cotton muslin breathes, absorbs quickly and grows softer over time. The towel you receive today will feel even kinder a year from now.
· A first-wash tip. Wash separately the first time, as deep dyes may release a little colour, as natural fabrics do.
